Review time and I cannot believe that I finally read and finished this trilogy, so happy that I did though...let's do this:

End of Days by Susan Ee

Penryn and Raffe are on the run after escaping the angels.  They are desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn's little sister.  As they set off in search of answers, revelations from Raffe's past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.

The angels realease an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans and both sides are set on a path toward war.  Unlike alliances from and strategies shift, but who will win the war?

Forced to pick sides in the fight to control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose, Their own kind, or each other?

This book was brutal, so much war, so much death, so much of everything that I wasn't expecting.  Raffe was...one moment he was fighting with Penryn and the next he had to fight with the Angels.  Penryn, poor girl, I felt for her, but one thing you will never see is her giving up.  She fought from the beginning of the first book until the end of this book, she is a fighter for sure.

But the end?  Epic for sure and you will not regret reading it...4.5 stars out of 5.
