At Peace!!!

If you work and have kids, or study, it doesn't matter what you do, there is always a day that you feel stressed, cranky, bitchy (yes I said it) and you just don't think that nothing will make it better.  I feel like this from time to time and I try to find things that will help me feel better, yes chocolate works, but when you are done the regret kicks in...I have found something, that maybe will work for more people than me, pictures of nature, other people, etc.  Take a look at the pictures below and imagine yourself feeling that breeze, or imagine yourself smelling the salty air or that flower...yes it is true, the little things in life do magics when we less expect...hope you enjoy

Products Review-Influenster

Alright, I have been trying these products for a while now and I'm ready to give my opinion, so here it is:

Let's start with the good,

FOOD SHOULD TASTE GOOD chips: OMG, they are delicious and addicting too :)  I loved them so much that I went out and bought other different flavors.
Food Should Taste Good
WEN By Chaz Dean: LOVE IT!!! It makes my hair silky with volume, but not the kind of volume that drives you crazy, it's the good volume.  And the smell is divine.
WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner
Juice Beauty Conditioning Lip Color: I Love the color, I love how it makes my lips so hydrated, it became my to go to lip color.
Juice Beauty Conditioning Lip Color
Avalon Organic Lip balm: I go the cherry flavor and nothing to complain about it.  It really hydrates your lips, I keep this one in my bag all the time and use it when I feel my lips drying up a bit during the day.
Avalon Organics Lip Balm
JASON Pure Hand Soap: I never thought that I would love a hand soap this much.  I use it everyday, specially when I need to put or take off my contacts.  Perfect for it, you don't have to worry about your contacts getting some of the perfume from the soap.

The next ones didn't win my heart, but I'm not saying that are bad products, I'm still going to continue to use them and see if I change my mind or not:

HALO snack bar: I got the marshmallow flavor, and it just didnt' taste good for me.  My husband ate it and thought that it was pretty good.

Derma e Skin Cleanser:  I'm still not too sure about this one.  The smell is not that great, but what changed my mind was that it says that it helps to prevent breakouts and guess what, I got one a couple weeks ago.  And I have been using it just like it says.  So, I'm gonna continue to use and just see what happens...

Lastly, The Natural Dentist Rinse:  I can't get past the taste...my gums feel good so maybe it is working?  Gonna continue to use it.

Beauty Haul: Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid

I was driving home today and I felt like stopping by the pharmacies on my way home, you see all 3 pharmacies are on the same street, on the same block...I know crazy but I love it.

Rite Aid had a great deal on Revlon tools so I took advantage of it...
Yes, it is JulieG's(YouTube guru  julieg713) nail polish, since I saw her video where she introduced the colors I fell in love with this one "Stilettos"...it's beautiful
Just some colors for my fall looks...

I can't wait to try these products...

It's the last day of the work week.  Friday nights are always the best for some reason.  So I thought about posting every Friday my outfit of the day, most of the time it will be what I wore to work that day or if I'm not working then what I'll be wearing that day...it should be fun and interesting :)

So, here is what I wore to work today, the weather today was only on the 60s, I know summer if pretty much over in New England, darn it...

Pants: New York and Company
Shirt: an old one...I think I got it from TJ Maxx

LUSH Haul!!!

Finally I had a change to go to a Lush store and who knew that it was so close to my house ( I may be in trouble from now on)...

When I got in the first thing that came to my mind was how everything smells sooooooooooooo good, they had smells that accomodates everybody.  I like things that smell fruity, don't ask why I just love it, so a very nice employee help me pick a few things for me to try.  No, I didnt' go overboard, at least that's what I'm saying.  I got 1 bath bomb, 1 bath melt, 1 lip scrub and 1 shower gel for my hubby (see I didn't just think about myself).

Below is a picture of the products with descriptions from their website, which by the way is: http://www.lush.com/ , I haven't tried them out yet, but I see a bath coming soon :)

Pink Bath BOMB...(I love the names): This hot pink bomb is still fragranced with tonka bean's edgy aroma and the sweetness of vanilla absolute.
Pink Bath Bomb

MMM (Melting Marshmallow Moment) Bath Melt: Melts into a pink, fluffy waterbed of marshmallow and moisturizing cocoa butter. Each Melting Marshmallow Moment is made with marshmallow herb, which produces a sweet, skin-soothing mucilage and marigold, which is equally calming for your skin.
MMM Melting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt
Happy Hippy (No, my husband is not a hippy, but the smell is so nice, not too strong, just prefect I think): Pink grapefruit shower gel is a magic potion to make the office seem inviting on Monday mornings. It's made with fresh, organic pink grapefruits. These vary in colour.
Happy Hippy Shower Gel

Bubble Gum Lip Scrub: This one will make your lips smell like our best-selling Snow Fairy shower gel. Bubblegum is made with exfoliating castor sugar and our delicious vegan flavour to gently scrub away rough skin, keeping your lips smooth and kissably soft with the help of jojoba oil. ( I tried this one at the store and I fell in love with it, the smell, taste (yes you can taste) and it sure makes your lips so soft.  I'll be using this a lot during the winter time as my lips get so dry and it cracks a lot...

I'll be reviewing all of these products once I have used them...

Influenster

I've been a member of this website called Influenster for about 2 months now.  What is Influenster: take a look at their website for more information: http://www.influenster.com/ but here is a little description on my own words:  On this website you open badges that you feel it's related to you, they have badges like Mom, Beauty and many more.  Then when they have products that represents the badges that you have picked you'll be selected to try to products out and give your opinion.

For the month of August they had a "Naturals" voxbox, where they had products that were "green" for you to try out, I got picked and I just got my voxbox this Monday.  Let me tell you, it was really exicting to get it and see what products I got to try it out.

Missing from the picture is the tortillas chips that my 8 year old decided to hid the rest and eat them by himself, I guess it was good :)

Here is a list of the products with a descriptiont that they sent:

Here are a few of the things that I have tried:

Facial Cleanser: I've been using it twice a day as recommend for the last 3 days, I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

Jason Hand Soap: I like it, it makes your hands soft and it doesn't have aroma so your hands don't smell like nothing and sometimes you need that.

Mouth Rinse: I've been trying to use it twice a day, but the taste is quite strong, when I got it and saw that it was peppermint flavored I was exicted to try it.  We'll see if it gets better.

Wen Conditioner: I was really happy about this product, I had seen comercials for it already and I've always wanted to get it but it's one thing on TV and another seeing personaly.  But it sure wasn't a dissapoinment, I loved it right after 1 use, it smells divine and leaves your hair so soft and fluffy.

LipBalm: I love lipbalms and let's face it, I need them.  Who also has lips that are always dried?  I use lipbalm when I got to bed, when I make up and during the day too.  I like the how this one feels, it sure does the work.

Lip Color: It says that it conditioners your lips, I used it for the first time the very next day that I got it and right now it is my to go to lipcolor.  It's a neutral color so it fits perfectly and it sure does what it says, your lips really feel like moistured.

Tortillas Chips: I can say that these are sooo yummy, I will be buying them as the whole family tried and they loved it.

Marshmallow Snack Bar: it's sitting by my side table in my bedroom, I am to try it out it just that if I try and like it I'm gonna have to go look for it and right now I don't know where to find it.  I know I can google the damn thing, but I'm been lazy :)  I'll be trying them really soon.

More reviews on these products coming...

Candy Shoppe Birthday Party!!!

So, you all know that my little princess turned 2 on 8/30, this past Saturday we did a birthday party in her honor (of course) and the theme was Candy Shoppe.  Which was a HUGE sucess, the kids and adults didn't stop eating candy until they left.
The weather was beautiful out so the kids enjoyed playing outside, either rolling on the grass or making up games, they sure had fun.  And the adults enjoyed some nice conversation and drinks :)

Here are pictures from the party, hope you enjoy them as we sure did enjoyed the day:

 Yummy Cake:)
 Presents Time!!!

My Baby Girl!!!

Tuesday 8/30 was a very special day, my baby girl turned 2!!! Yes, she is 2 already, where did my newborn go?  Even though I miss my little one being little, I can't complaint to much, she is at that stage that she is starting to talk on complete sentences but doesn't pronounce all the letters yet (how cute is that, I should make a video of her talking).

And did I tell you how girly girl she is, COME ON, she is 2.  I didn't know that at that age you could be sooooo girly :)  I do my nails once a week and to tell you the truth, I try to do them when the kids are not around so the nails can dry completely and not have to re do them a hundred times again.  Okay, where was I? Ah, so when I do my nails and little Samantha is around, she sits on the floor, takes her shoes off and ask me to do her nails too, I know it's way to cute and who can resist, I know I can't...

Even though she is a girly girl, let me tell you that she can beat her 7 (almost 8) yearl old brother...lol...and she is a little manipulative.  She knows how to get everything she wants.  People always tell me, little girls have their fathers wrapped around their little fingers, let me tell you this little girl has EVERYONE wrapped around her finger.

I have been trying to post this since Tuesday, but my oldest is training extra hard for his 1st degree Black Belt (I know, how exicting is that :)), so things are more crazy then usually, don't ask me how that is possible, but that it is, it is.

Here are a collage of pictures of our little Princess/Trouble Maker since she was born up until Tuesday :)  Ah, her birthday party is next Saturday 9/10 (can't do Labor Day weekend, a lot of people are still on vacation). Her theme? CANDY SHOP...I think I may be more exicted them her, candy, candy, candy!!!

Enjoy the Pictures:
