Because I'm still not over this book, I still dream about it, I still think about it all day LONG. And I'm just not okay that this series is over; when I finished this book, I was happy with how it ended and overall everything but now? Now, I want more, I just greedy, right? Right...and let's just get to the review:</p><p style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></p></div><p><span style="color: #674ea7; font-family: helvetica; font-size: x-large;"><b>REIGN by Siobhan Davis</b></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><img alt="50663965. sy475" height="400" src="https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1587992854l/50663965._SY475_.jpg" width="250" /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">**************************</span></i></p><p><i><span id="freeText12006284005663478292" style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Everything changed after the attempt on my life, and now, I’m more determined than ever to crush my enemies until they lie in pieces at my feet.<br />Sinner believes he has pushed me into a corner, but he underestimates my thirst for revenge.<br />Nothing will stand in my way.<br />And I’m no longer in this alone. Saint, Galen, Caz, and Theo have won my trust and my heart. Together, we are an unbreakable team and an unstoppable force.<br />Staying one step ahead of the game is critical to our success, so we’ve little choice but to partner with the most unlikely of allies. The situation is tense and fraught with danger, and it’s not just our lives at stake.<br />Everything rests on finding the evidence that links The Sainthood to Daphne Leydon’s kidnapping and murder, and we’re running out of time.<br />Sinner thinks war has already come to Lowell. Galen has come a long long away, and all my doubts and hate is totally, completely out the window. He has won my heart in a million different ways and in this book I was more in love with him than I wanted to admit to myself. The Saint boys, Oh Man; Harlow, Harlow you lucky girl. (fanning over here a little lol).</span></span></p><p style="text-align: left;">Guys, in this third and final book we FINALLY get to see our gang go all out to destroy the monster that have been trying to destroy not only them but a lot of more innocent lives too. And this group was able to do so much and let's admit; I would never be able to do any of that crazy stuff (chicken over here). But, one of the things that I loved to see in this book, was all of them admitting that they need extra help and reaching out to get the help to destroy all the people that needed to be destroyed. And let's not forget they put themselves on the line so many times to see that goal reached. </p><p style="text-align: left;">The goal was reached but not without consequences, loved ones were lost, others suffered along the way, but they never gave up and that's we need to remind ourselves, right? Even if we don't live in a world like Harlow and the guys, but we can take that little part with us to our own little battles; don't give up, fight, even when you don't think there is an end, fight more and you will succeeded. </p><p style="text-align: left;">I'm never one to give up spoilers, however I can tell you this, you will not be disappointed with this final book, you will get to see how Harlow and the guys end and how their lives will be a little ahead, so what are you waiting for, go and read it. And Thank Siobhan for the amazing story line and life lessons that she give us along the way :)</p><p style="text-align: left;">I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book.</p><p style="text-align: left;">And let's not forget my rating; 5 out of 5 stars, totally recommend, not only this book but the whole trilogy!</p><p style="text-align: left;">XOXO,</p><p style="text-align: left;"><i>Nelia</i></p>Read With Neliahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04596561292176428170noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4453721960916975080.post-1397254601919665122020-06-30T15:18:00.001-04:002020-06-30T15:18:24.539-04:00Book Review: One Last Second by Sam VickeryThis book was deep and scary and so many feelings...a read that you'll not forget.<div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><i><font color="#9c27b0" size="5">One Last Second by Sam Vickery</font></i></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="53493201" height="400" src="https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1590557499l/53493201.jpg" width="261" /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>************</i></div><div><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: merriweather, georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">What if your child was dying and no one believed you?</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: merriweather, georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: merriweather, georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: merriweather, georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: merriweather, georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">I never expected to be doubted, but if I can't make them believe me, what then? Right at the beginning of the book we know that Adelaide and her boyfriend of always a year have broken up and she is pretty sad about. But, at the park with the dogs she meets a boy and the book takes off from there. Adelaide, plays a few scenarios of what could happen with this boy, if she talked to him or if she ignored him, or if an accident with the dogs happened and he helped her or if he just ignored her. The world could go a lot of different ways depending on how one conversation starts or doesn't start.</span></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">We also get to see Adelaide's relationship with her brother, which in my opinion is the most important and the main point in this book. Life in the public eye with an overly ambitious--and unfaithful―man who could hardly be coaxed to return from a vacation after the birth of a stillborn child was breaking her spirit. I loved reading how these two women's life, so different and so far away from each other but at the same time so close together with each other. </span></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">We get to follow Jackie's story line from when she met JFK and how they started dating and we even get some stories of her past boyfriends from before JFK. From when she decided Jack was her love, we see how her life changed, for better or for worse? Well, you be the judge, at least from this book. However, from this book's point of view, Jackie is the wife that follow's Jack even if she hates politics, but she stays by his side and "supports" him. She becomes the first lady that America loved, or hated at the beginning because of her expensive clothes (sounds kind of familiar). She becomes legendary when JFK dies and even afterwards. But years after she gets married to a very rich man, Aristotle Onassis.</span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Maria Callas, opera singer, a legend on her time. Can you see her and Jackie's lives intertwined? No, right? Well, we are wrong, so wrong. But back to Maria. Maria started her career very, very young, but her voice was magic and she stole the hearts of millions with it. But one thing that didn't go right for Maria? The hearts of the people that loved her. Starting with her family, her mother never loved her, and took advantaged of her even when she was a little girl, Then, she got married really, really young to someone who was much, much older than her. She thought she had found the love of her life, her husband did everything for her, he was her manager, managed all her business. Why couldn't she trust him, she rescued her from her family so she trusted him, the only thing she was missing was a child. And, as the years went by, the older she got and the older the husband got and the less he touched her and no kids for them, it was like he lost interest in her. And then she met Aristotle Onassis. He woke something in her that she didn't even realize she was missing, and she was so happy when she was near him and with him. And she left her husband and him his wife so they could be together. With Aristotle in her life, she finds that her life is turned upside down with this man, but being this happy she will do anything to continue to be this way. I knew I had to read it when I saw that it was about a travel blogger and she was going to Japan (Tokyo) and she was going there to take pictures so it could be later displayed on a exhibit. It sounded amazing and I wanted, no, I needed and once I started reading it? It was more than I expected, it was beyond was I was expecting and I never wanted to leave this little paradise that I discovered. I want all of Julie Caplin's books and why did I start on book number six of this series, where have I been? Under a rock? Yes, for sure. Okay, okay, let's talk more about this book.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Fiona, is the travel blogger who has won the contest to travel to Tokyo and to work with a professional photographer while there. She couldn't be more happy, this is something she has dreamed forever but she has the worst surprised ever when she arrives in Tokyo, right at the airport. There, waiting for her is a professional photographer, but no the one she was expecting, but no the less one that she knows well, it's the one that ruined the last ten years of her life, Gabe. But, it looks like Gabe doesn't remember her and she is just going to go along with it and enjoy her stay in Tokyo, she is there to work and enjoy this beautiful country. What's the worst that can happen? Fall in love again, Gabe recognize her and fall in love with her? Ah, yeah right? Right? Japan is magical place and lots of things can happen.</span></font></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></font></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 14px;">I loved the romance in this book, it was slow and magical and funny, it was everything you want in a romance. And Japan? Ah, the way things were described, I want to go there, I want a tea ceremony more than anything. I want to go live with a local family than stay at a hotel. I want to visit all the local points that were mention in the book. The cherry blossoms has been something in my bucket list and now more than ever. </span></font></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></font></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="background-color: white;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Maybe is the quarantine talking, but I felt more connected with this traveling more than ever and makes me want to travel more. King George is reigning after his brother has abdicated the throne so he could marry his American mistress and now both King George and Queen Elizabeth are facing the worst of their reign, a world war with the worst enemy ever, Hilter. </span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></font></div><div style="text-align: left;"><font color="#181818" face="Merriweather, Georgia, serif"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">While the whole world is at war, England is now part of it and Elizabeth and George have to prepare not only themselves and their two daughters but the whole nation two. She has to prevent Edward and his horrible wife to ever set foot in England again. And she, herself has secrets that has been troubling her mind more and more as the war last more and more. Yes, it was during WWII and we read some troubling and devastating things, but at the same time? We got to see a different side of the royals in this book, it felt like they were just another regular family. Karen Harper did an amazing job with this book and I just want to read more of her books after this. She's on a plane when the flight attendant makes an announcement: prepare for a crash landing. She braces herself as thoughts flash through her mind. The shocking thing is, the thoughts are not of her husband, but a man she last saw fifteen years ago: Wyatt Armstrong.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;">Dawn, miraculously, survives the crash, but so do all the doubts that have suddenly been raised. She has led a good life. Back in Boston, there is her husband, Brian, her beloved daughter, and her work as a death doula, where she helps ease the transition between life and death for patients in hospice.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;">But somewhere in Egypt is Wyatt Armstrong, who works as an archaeologist unearthing ancient burial sites, a job she once studied for, but was forced to abandon when life suddenly intervened. And now, when it seems that fate is offering her second chances, she is not as sure of the choice she once made.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;">After the crash landing, the airline ensures the survivors are seen by a doctor, then offers transportation wherever they want to go. The obvious option for Dawn is to continue down the path she is on and go home to her family. The other is to return to the archaeological site she left years before, reconnect with Wyatt and their unresolved history, and maybe even complete her research on The Book of Two Ways--the first known map of the afterlife.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;">As the story unfolds, Dawn's two possible futures unspool side by side, as do the secrets and doubts long buried beside them. Dawn must confront the questions she's never truly asked: What does a life well-lived look like? When we leave this earth, what do we leave behind? Do we make choices...or do our choices make us? And who would you be, if you hadn't turned out to be the person you are right now?</span></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;">*************************************************</span></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: left;"><br /></span></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">This book, where to I even start? The book starts right off with a plane crash, so we know that Dawn, our main character is on a plane crash and she survives. But from there? We go back and forth, back to her past self and forth to some part of her future, but this back and forth? We don't really have dates of them, so what do we know? We know that she is telling us part of the past past, part of still past? And then part of her present? We won't know what the present is until...well you will have to read to find out or I will spoil you.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">But, let's talk about so of the things that I did like and found interesting in the book. I really enjoyed and learned about Egypt and Egyptology and learning about Dawn when she was just a college student, where she was fascinated by all things Egyptology and how she ended up in Egypt and the best time of her life. Where she was just pretty much starting her life, find lost tombs and find pharaohs and learning all about Egypt life from thousands of years ago. And about The Book of Two Ways, something she has always been wanting to find out more about it. But one thing she didn't think it would happen was also finding love while there, and with the boy that she hated at first. Both were young and students and stupid in love and thought that the whole world were theirs to see and learn together, however things don't always work out the way we want and Dawn learned it on the worse way possible. One day she got a call that she never thought she would and her whole world and life changed and she never looked back. Until many years later, when her life is as simple and complicated as a normal life can be. And sometime simple changed everything for her this time and she decided to take charge and see it through this time.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">This book is not an easy book to read, you need to pay attention, you need to have patience with it, but in my opinion, if you ask me if it was worth it? Yes, it was, yes for sure. I loved the history part of the book. I loved the complicated part of Dawn's life and how she was struggling with it and let's be honest, it's how we all fell. Life is not as easy as a book or a movie shows us all the time, and I loved how this book for once made a character as uneasy as Dawn, so unsure of herself and not knowing all the time if she was making the right the decision. So, with that been said, was it a perfect book? No, it was still confusing at times with back and forth and not know which part of the characters life we were reading. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Overall, still a solid 4 stars reading and I totally recommend it. I'm still thinking all thinks Egypt and want to travel there more than ever now lol. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">XOXO,</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Nelia</div></div>Read With Neliahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04596561292176428170noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4453721960916975080.post-34740724401108288672020-06-10T12:16:00.001-04:002020-06-10T12:16:29.046-04:00Book Review: Jackson by Siobhan Davis<div class="separator"><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;">Ah,, this book killed and put me back again and MAN, I'm finally ready to tell you guys all about it. You will be ruined for life, the bad boy Jackson? Yeah, he is nothing compared to this Jackson you are about to get to know, this one? He is even more hot, more sexy and more loveable than all the Jacksons you have in your head right now. So, if you think you are already know Jackson from all the previous books? Buckle up, because you are about to go on another crazy Siobhan Davis ride. And it's amazing one for sure. Not giving much away, because the best way to enjoy this book is going blind, but be ready to finally find out all about Jackson's past and all about his family and what happened to them and what made Jackson, Jackson. And be ready, because in this book, our boy is ready to bring everyone down that has caused him all his pain. And that means getting close to Vanessa, a girl he doesn't care to bring it down, or so he thinks.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">And now we meet Vanessa, and OMG, OMG, OMG. I loved Vanessa, I felt for this girl sooo much. She is the girl that you will root when you don't want to root for. And she is the girl that will make you question Jackson's decisions and hate him when you love him to death at the same time. And be ready, because you will be right there, there where you ask? There, in the middle of both Vanessa and Jackson, you will be the middle person, because you will just have no choice, because this book will play with your head and your heart like there's no tomorrow. These two and so broken and need to mend themselves in order to be together, the question is will the be able to do it together? Will they destroy themselves on the way? Will they ask for help?</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">So much happens and you will hate and love everything at the same time. So, buckle up people and enjoy this crazy ride because you will be amazed.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">5 out of 5 stars.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Nelia</div></span>Read With Neliahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04596561292176428170noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4453721960916975080.post-25240040603810816762020-05-19T14:53:00.002-04:002020-05-19T14:53:28.926-04:00Book Review: Anne Boleyn By E. <i><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">************************</span></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Well, I think we all know who Anne Boleyn is, she is the second wife of King Henry the Eighth and probably the most famous one of six of them. And who doesn't like to read books about her, even if most of them are fiction? I personally do, and when I saw this one on NetGalley, I'm not going to lie, the cover drew me in right away and it had been a while since I have read a Anne Boleyn story so I was glad that got a chance to read it and I have finally to some time to really sit down and read, since we are all in quarantine and more time in our hands, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm not going to lie, this was not was I was expecting, Anne Boleyn's books and movies are always full of action, and upbeat and on the go, do you know what I mean? But this one? It dragged a lot for the first three quarters of it, but I pushed through it and I got to the end of it and it was okay. I was not in love with the writing and the way the story went from one point to the next it was confusing at times. Anne was kind of boring too, and she was not supposed to be, in my opinion and towards the end I was expecting her to go more crazy and desperate and she really wasn't and that disappointed me too. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Overall? It was an okay book to read, it took me a few more days that I like but I got to the end of it lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3 out of 5 stars</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
XOXO,</div>

**********************************************</div>
<br />
Alright, where do I begin with this book? Can I start by saying, I am in LOVE with Charlie? But let me start by saying, he was NOT a favorite of my and when I started reading this book I did not have high expectations and OH MAN, was I wrong, so so so wrong. And so glad at the same time that I was wrong, because I just couldn't get enough of Charlie in this book and I still cannot get enough of him, he has become one of my favorite book boyfriends, and I'm a little picky when it comes to them. Yeah, I have many book boyfriends but I read hundreds of books so I am can say that I am picky, right? lol. Alright back with this book. <br />
<br />
This book is part of the Rydeville Elite series and if you haven't read the series yet, where have you been, you are for sure missing out on so much action and lots of steam romance and I leave it at that because I spoil it for you, but trust me you need to pick up the series now. <br />
<br />
We get to see Charlie managing his dad's business, a side that I was not expecting from him. Life has never been easy for him, that's for sure, but the mistakes that he has made? That was a lot and he knows that he cannot undo them, but he can do things to make up for all the wrong he has done. And he can start with Demi, his assistant. <br />
<br />
Demi has drop off college and all her dreams, but she doesn't regret one bit. She did it all for her dad, the man that has done everything for her and now is her turn to make sure he is taken care of and has everything he needs to get better. Even if it means if she has to work at the company that fire him and to make matters worse, she made the mistake to sleep with her boss on the night of his wedding. No matter how hard Demi tries to make things just professional, Charlie just makes her life miserable but he doesn't realize that Demi is stronger that she looks and she will put up with everything just to make sure her dad has the best care.<br />
<br />
The more the two of them fight and try to push each other away, the more attracted to each other they are and at the end they realize they are meant for each other, but their worlds are totally the opposite from each and Charlie will do anything to keep Demi safe, even if it means to keep her away from him.<br />
<br />
I loved these two together, I loved their fights, I loved their chemistry, their love for each other, I could feel their feelings through the pages, it was everything you wish for on a book. Siobhan knows how to make you fall in love with characters, but she out did herself on this one. Charlie was the bad boy that when you really get to know him, he is the good guy all along and you just don't have any choice but to fall in love with him. And fall in love with him I did.<br />
<br />
A million stars to this book! My favorite for sure.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
****************************</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The gang is back together and man if this book is not even hot and more dangerous that the first one. The boys are hotter than ever and they want their girl more than ever too and let's not forget that they will do everything in their power to protect her. We get to see how much they will do to protect Harlow in this book. And Harlow, this girl is above and beyond what you are thinking, she is fearless and she is ready at any moment to protect those she loves and let's not forget that she is the ONE is CHARGE now, the boys are following her rules, specially now after everything she has gone through.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But we cannot forget out guys, Saint was already falling deep for his princess and in this book he is all in and he is not afraid to show it. But just because he is all lovey dovey don't think he is too soft, he still a badass and you should still be afraid of him.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cal, man where do I even start with him. He is my funny, cute, hot and everything in between, but at the same time he is not afraid to shot whoever gets in his way, he is dangerously funny and hot at the same time and miss princess loves him for it. And me too lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Theo, oh Theo...we all know he is our wicked smart guy and smart and hot is everything, right? But in this book, Theo opened up so much and we got to find out a lot about him and I can't wait to see more of him, it's going to be hot, hot, hot!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Galen, man, where do I begin, I was mad at him so much, but by the end of this book, my heart is getting there. I think Harlow is better than me, but with that much hotness who can blame her. Makeup sexy time is everything, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Alright, all hotness aside, these five together have a lot on their plate and their plans are finally coming together, but it will not be easy and by the end of this book and I realized that there is a lot more that they need to go through in order win their battle and I cannot wait for the next book. I need it now, like NOW.</div>

I hope so. Anyways, when I saw that Beatriz Williams, who I read Summer Wives last year, which I loved, was coming up with a book about not only about WWII but also WWI, I knew I was going to read it, but the book was also cowritten, so it give me another change to introduce to other authors, win, win for me! Let's jump in to the revivew:<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">This book was amazing, it's love, war and everything in between. I loved the going back and forth in the time frame. I loved getting to know these three woman, getting to know what happen during WWI and WWII and what each of those two woman did, but also what different things people had to go through during those times. And the different love stories, that was so touching and wonderful. Just a warning, the beginning of the book may be a little slow but once you get through the first quarter of it, you will not be able to put it down. </span></span></span></div>

YEAH!!! How are you all doing? What are some of the things that you are doing to get through your days?<br />
<br />
Let's get to today's review:<br />
<h2>
<span style="color: yellow;"><i style="background-color: #6fa8dc;">The Love Scam by Mary Janice Davidson</i></span></h2>

<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><i><br /></i></span></i>
<i>Rake Tarbell is in trouble. When the fabulously wealthy and carefree bachelor wakes up horribly hungover in Venice, it’s not something that would normally be a problem...except he has no idea how he got there from California. Or who stole his wallet. Or who emptied his bank account of millions. Or who in the world is Lillith, the charming little girl claiming to be his long lost daughter. For the first time in his life, Rake is on his own and throwing Benjamins around aren’t going to solve his problem. Now if only the gorgeous, fun, and free-spirited woman who brought Lillith into his life was willing to help the situation…</i><br />
<i><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Claire Delaney finds Rake’s problems hilarious and is not in the least bit sorry of adding to them by bringing Lillith into the mix. A pretty Midwestern girl with a streak for mischief, Rake is not the kind of man Claire hangs around with. Even if he is drop-dead handsome and charming as all get-out. Even if he needs help and she has all the answers. But if this helps Lillith, she will go out of her way. And with a guy like Rake, she’s willing to bend her rules a bit for some fun. But when adventure-filled days turn to romantic nights as they search for answers, and someone starts following them through the streets of Venice, Claire realizes she's playing more than just a game. And maybe, just maybe, she isn't willing to let go of Rake or Lillith just yet.</span></i><div>
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><i><br /></i></span></span><div>
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">*********************************</span></i></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">This book had so much promise, first of all it takes place in Venice, Italy and that's one of the main reasons I picked it up, I love Venice and when I saw this book and saw that it took place in Venice and it was a romance with a mystery, I knew that I wanted to read. But, it just felt short in my opinion.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Rake is our main character, who is a millionaire, but he wakes up in Venice one day with no idea on how he got there, and he has no wallet and worst of all he his bank account has been emptied. And then enters Claire, who brings Lillith to Rake claiming that she is his long lost daughter. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Well, so far the story was great, but them it got weird, Rake doesn't do anything to solve his problem, he just does whatever Claire tells him to do, he has to "work" in order to get a new cell phone and sleep in the hotel room where she is living, and while he is working for her he can help her figure out what happened to Lillith's mother and she will also get a DNA test to confirm the paternity. Things just went too fast for me, I love so meet cute, but this one just fell a little too fast and not real for me.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">I really loved the little girl, Lillith, she was my favorite character, she was wicked smart and I wish there was more of her throughout the book. lol</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Overall 2.5 out of 5 stars.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
Being at home these couple weeks I have gotten to read a few books and getting myself back on my reading goals. Let's get to some of the books I have read this past couple weeks...first up:<br />
<h2>
<span style="color: #674ea7;"><i>A Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee</i></span></h2>
<br />
<a href="https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572057842l/51164758._SX318_SY475_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="51164758. sx318 sy475 " border="0" src="https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572057842l/51164758._SX318_SY475_.jpg" /></a> <i> <span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">Aubrey Choi loves living in her small town nestled in the foothills of California, running her highly successful bakery away from the watch of her strict Korean parents. When a cake mix-up and a harsh review threaten all of her hard work and her livelihood, she never thought the jaded food critic would turn out to be her one-night stand. And she sure as hell never thought she’d see her gorgeous Korean unicorn again. But when Landon Kim waltzes into her bakery trying to clean up the mess he had a huge hand in making, Aubrey is torn between throwing and hearing him out.</span></i><br />
<i><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">When she hears his plan to help save her business, Aubrey knows that spending three weeks in California wine country working with Landon is a sure recipe for disaster. Her head is telling her to take the chance to save her bakery while her heart—and her hormones—are at war on whether to give him a second chance. And it just so happens that Landon’s meddling friends want them to spend those three weeks as close as possible...by sharing a villa.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">When things start heating up, both in and out of the kitchen, Aubrey will have to make a choice—to stick it out or risk her heart.</span></i><br />
<div>
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div>
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div>
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div>
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">-------------------------------</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Confession time first; a couple months ago I discovered K-dramas and now I am addicted to them and if you haven't started watching them, please go, go and start watching them so I'm it's not only me spending countless hours of my day on them. And if you have been watching them, aren't they amazing?</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Now back to this book, when I saw that this story was about Koren-American characters, I mean I had to read about it; first because of my obsession with kdramas and because the story line just sounded just too cute to pass up; and it mention food and who doesn't like to read about FOOD? </span></span><br />
<br />
Aubrey Choi has small but successful bakery in California and she is saving up to expand and open a bigger location and everything is going well until she gets a bad review and everything goes down the drain. What's worse is that the review came from the man she had a one-night stand, a perfect one-night stand. He is one of the most popular food critics in California, Landon Kim.<br />
<br />
When Landon shows up at her bakery with a plan to save her business, Aubrey knows that she shouldn't accept it but saving her business is what her life is all about so she goes along with it and along with Landon she goes. <br />
<br />
Spending three weeks with Landon didn't seem that bad of a deal with Aubrey said yes, but the more time they spend together the more they realize their feelings are more than they realized. But will they act on it or deny how they feel. <br />
<br />
Let's talk about much I loved the food mention in this book, loved it. The love story was just a sweet too, even though it was a little too quick at times but it was still cute, I loved Aubrey, she was funny and wasn't afraid to just go out of her way and say what she wanted. Landon was hottie, and loved to get his POV so we could understand him a little better.<br />
<br />
Overall, such a cute love story and I totally recommend it.<br />
<br />
Got an early eARC from Netgalley.<br />
<br />
4 out 5 stars!<br />
<br />
XOXO,<br />

<b><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Book 1- Cruel Intentions:</span></i></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Cruel Intentions it is throughout the book...Abby is my new favorite girl, not because she is a badass who kicks ass and stuff like that, no, it's because this girls goes through hell but still keeps her head high and for that? She deserves praise and much more. She is in a cruel world, a world that I wouldn't want to live in, but she tries her best, she wants out but she knows she can't just run, not she will pay their games until she can finally escape.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">But, things take a turn when Cam, Sawyer and Jackson show up, them and their new money. Battles lines are drawn and Abby is in the middle because she gave her virginity to Cam because she wanted to rebel against her family and fiance. She didn't know who he was but it doesn't matter know, he holds that against her, he hates Abby like nothing else and will use that to make her do whatever they want.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">If she thought her life was in dangerous before now is 10 times worse but she doesn't care, that means she will fight 10 times more, she doesn't trust anyone, not here father, not her fiance, not the new guys and it seems like not even her twin bother. She will have to just trust herself and fight.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Damn, this book, be ready people there is so much, so much going on that you will be reading int he edge of your seat. Just as Abby doesn't know who to trust, you will not know who to trust either, my heart is divided too. Do I like Cam, yes and at the same time and I want to hurt him too. Drew, ah I want to use my hands and nails on him. Sawyer and Jackson, it's a hate and love relationship too. See where I'm going...my heart is all twisted and this is only the first book. I just want to take Abby and hid her, don't know where, but then I live in MA so I don't think she would be too save with me lol.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">But, seriously, I cannot recommend this book enough, I don't want to give spoilers but be ready for a rolercoaster and a half and for scream and crying and laughing and loving and hating Siobhan for this and then hypervatilating for book 2 when you are done reading book 1 because that cliffhanging at the end it's just TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><i><b><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Book 2-Twisted Betrayal:</span></b></i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">We finally found out who kidnapped Abby. Abby is being kept hidden and when she finally wakes up she knows that things are just not the same, she just knows she cannot trust anyone anymore, now more than ever and she just knows they have broken her more than ever but she promises herself to seek revenge to the end more than ever, because NOW there is no coming back, there is no forgiveness for no one.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">When help finally arrives for Abby, she has a very hard time to give her trust and to believe that anyone is there to help her. If anyone wants her friendship, forgiveness and even her love back, they are going to work ten times harder this time to win it back. How can she trust anyone? Brother? Friends? Kaiden? Her heart is just way to broken to forget and forgive...</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">However all the guys in her life don't give up on her and they do work hard to win her back. Kaiden is everything you want in a guy, he is the caveman that we all secretly want (I know I do lol). And he can be rough but at the same time just as gentle with Abby, and they are perfect for each other.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">But there is so much more then Abby forgiving her friends and Kai, so much more at risk. Her father is more of a monster than she thought he could ever be and when they thought he couldn't do anything worse he just sucker punches them all again and the hit is even worse than before...I don't know how Abby and Kaiden are going to come through this one and I cannot wait to find out what's going to happen on book 3.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><b><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Book 3-Sweet Retribution</span></i></b><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">I don't even know where to start with this book...let me see, I don't want to spoil the many, many things that happen here because come on, you NEED to read the book and be just as surprised as me and love how things developed, right? But I can tell you that Abby and Kai get the revenge they deserve and more, so much more.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Their love is everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. These two have the most amazing love story ever. Well, it's true that their love story is not your typical sweet one, heck no, it started out with hate, revenge, bullying and much more but their love surpassed that and a heck of a lot more. These two were meant to be each others other half from the beginning. Their enemies list just kept pilling up but their small group of friends stuck together and fought through it all and that? That was solid.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Which brings me to my next point of this book, friendships. Heck, even though this trilogy was about Kai and Abby's love story don't be fouled. Siobhan focused on friendship a lot, and I loved it, I loved even more when Kai's best friends because Abby's best friends also. Sawyer and Jackson are freaking hot and every time they were mention we fell in love with them, but not only for their hotness (because heck yes) but also for their loyalty and sometimes for just being there when needed, I want a Sawyer and a Jackson in my life.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">In this final book of Abby and Kai's trilogy we see Abby's master mind plan her sweet revenge on bringing down all enemies and damn is this girl doesn't do it. And of course she does it all with the help of her love and her friends and last bit of family she can trust.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">The more I read, the more I wanted, the more I read about the side characters, the more I fell in love with them. I want a Drew book after this is all done, I'm literally craving more of him, I'm dying to know what is happening to him and Charlie and Jackson and Sawyer. I mean, I just need more books of all of them. I have no one else of blame but Siobhan, right? lol</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">This trilogy was brilliant, this story line was hot, action pact, full of amazing characters and left me craving for me.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">5 out of 5 stars.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book.</span></div>

<i>By the author of the wildly successful 2am Thoughts, comes Nineteen — titled after the poet's age when she wrote this new book. Nineteen is a collection of poetry that broaches heartbreak, love, loss, war,</i><br />

<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">When I read a poetry book I want to get lost inside of it, I want it to touch my soul, I want it to touch my feelings, I want to make me feel things that I didn't even know I had inside of me. For me that's what a good poetry book does. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>

It has good art inside to go together with the poems, the poems are suppose to reflect on events and that should bring feelings or memories just from certain places. But I couldn't connect with the poems, the way it was written...</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">I still liked a couple of the poems inside of them and would love to check out her other work and see how I feel about.</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">3 out of 5 stars for this one.</span></span></div>

<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">If you haven't started this series yet, please do yourself a favor and go, just go and get the first book The Hundredth Queen and read and then you will hate me because you will not be able to stop there, because from there you will get book 2 and 3 and them 4. Each book is better then the previous and this book (4) is the final one and man, it did not disappoint me a all, once I was done I was happy and I will admit, I wanted more because bottom will, you will never get tired of reading about Kalinda and Deven and Ashwin. And that been said...</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">In the final book, we get to see Kalinda desperately trying to find a way to get Deven back as he is still trapped in the Void. We also get to see his POV in the Vod and what hells he is going through. Kalinda does whatever it takes to get her love back, even it is convincing a god to guide her through the Void. Even if this god has some purpose of his own of helping her. The odds may be against Kalinda, but nothing and no one will stop her.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">In the other hand we have Ashwin busy taking over as rajah and fixing the empire, a task that is not small at all. Specially since he has allowed Bhutas into the empire, they no longer have to hide their gifts, but some are not taking his decision so well and are causing trouble. However, Ashwin is not backing down on his decision and he will prove to his people that he is the right rajah and making the right decision. And did I say that Ashwin has moved on from Kalinda and is engaged to Gemi? And we get to see their romance evolve in this book? And have I said that it was my favorite thing EVER. I loved these two together, Gemi has been one of my favorite characters and Ashwin, I mean Ashwin is Ashwin, he is your one of your favorite book boyfriends and getting to see these two fall in love? It was AMAZING! When the book was done, I wanted more. </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Ah, there was so much more happening among all of these, but I will leave it for you guys to read it and fall more in love with this book.</span></span></span></div>

<i><span id="freeText16967573665526834700" style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br />Residents of the Donegal Golf and Country Club are very attached to their dogs. They depend on them for companionship and love. Dogs aren’t just pets at Donegal, but cherished members of the family.<br /><br />Bill’s a big, affectionate Labrador retriever mutt who is rescued by his owner after escaping a puppy mill. He’s a bit of an oddity at Donegal, where most dogs are small and cute and professionally bred. Even so, Bill is friends with all the other dogs and owners.<br /><br />When Ruby, the granddaughter of Bill’s master comes to visit, trouble starts. Ruby is afraid her father will stop loving her because he has a new wife and baby. When this fear leads Ruby to tell a lie, Bill’s master is forced to surrender his dog to an animal shelter. But Bill's love is unconditional—he'll do anything to be reunited with his master.<br /><br />By story's end, this love will lead others to see a simple truth: when you help someone else—a child, or even a dog—the one you help most is yourself.</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"> </span></i><div>

<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">------------------------</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">This book is told by Bill's POV, Bill is the dog, well you will also get the other neighborhood's dogs POV's, but mostly Bill. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">I loved the story line, it was touching, you will get attached to Bill and to Bill's master but because it is told in the dogs' POV I felt like lost sometimes. There were times I didn't know who's POV I was reading, and why was I reading another dog's POV, what was the point? I wanted Bill's story, so why was I reading ten other POVs, it felt way too many of them. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">You just can't help but fall in love with Bill and it won't matter if one of the neighborhood's dog is way "smarter" than all the others, you will just want to flip the page back to troublemaker but sweet Bill, especially when his life takes a turn that he never thought it would.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Overall a cute read..</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">3.75 stars out 5 and I recommend it.</span></span></div>

While her traditional Sri Lankan parents want her to settle down into marriage, what they don’t know is that Chaya has turned away the one true love of her life, Noah, terrified of their disapproval.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><b style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">Gimhana</b><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"> is hiding his sexuality from his family. It’s easy enough to pretend he’s straight when he lives half a world away in the UK. But it’s getting harder and harder to turn down the potential brides his parents keep finding for him.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">When Chaya and Gimhana meet, a marriage of convenience seems like the perfect solution to their problems. <div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">This was everything you want to see on a book now a days...even though it keeps you on the edge of your seat because you never know what is going to happen but man it was good.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Chaya has a very traditional Sri Lankan family and even though she has left their home and country to study aboard, they still expect her to settle down into marriage with a Sri Lankan boy. But what they don't know is that she turned away her one true love, Noah because she doesn't want to disappoint them. At the end she will do whatever it is that makes them happen even if her heart is broken forever.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Gimhana has been hiding his sexuality from his family since ever. It's not that hard because he has been living half a world away from them. But now it's getting harder to find an excuse of not getting married, as his parents expect him to marry a sri Lankan girl as it is tradition. He is torn of what to do, until an opportunity presents itself.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">When Chaya and Gimhana meet, they both find the perfect solution to their problems. A marriage of convenience. He can hid his sexuality, she can live the life she has been living until now, married to her job and keep her heart away as it will never love anyone besides Noah. So, they both go on with their plan. And things go so well but everything comes crumbling down.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Loved learning about Sri Lankan culture, and every time they were eating I wanted to be there eating with them too lol. Chaya also suffers from anxiety and it was not sugar coated in this book, Chaya had full on anxiety attacks and the world needs to know more about them and more about mental health. Thumbs up Jeevani Charika. Gimhana was everything you wanted in a friend, he was always there for Chaya and the was the perfect "husband", loved his sexuality was done in this book and how is relationships was shown, Another thumbs up. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Ah, I really loved reading this book, I was rooting for Chaya and for Gimhana even when their "marriage" was all over the place. Each of their personality will steal your heart and you will fall for both of them.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Totally recommend...5 out of 5 stars.</span></span></div>

<br />
I have some reviews of books that are not out yet and some that are out, so let's start with this one? <br />
<br />
<h2>
<span style="color: #073763; font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><i>The Sweeney Sisters by Lian Dolan</i></span></h2>

But their mother’s death from cancer fifteen years ago tarnished their golden-hued memories, and the sisters drifted apart. Their one touchstone is their father, Bill Sweeney, an internationally famous literary lion and college professor universally adored by critics, publishers, and book lovers. When Bill dies unexpectedly one cool June night, his shell-shocked daughters return to their childhood home. <div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">This book was everything that it promised; sisterhood, family drama, romance, mystery and so much more, and doggies too!!!! </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">It all starts when an internationally famous author dies, he is the father of three redhead daughters, time and some circumstances some life came they drifted apart. When their father passes away, the sisters drop everything they are doing and return to their childhood home to say their last goodbye to their father and also their home. </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">But what they didn't expect was finding a strange blonde girl crashing their father's funeral and then later finding out that same stranger to be their sister. Now, their whole world is turned upside down again and the three of them must stick together and decide what to do with this fourth Sweeney sister and find out why she is here.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">I was reading this book and it brought me back to the days I watched Desperate Housewives, who's with me? So much drama, so much mystery and at the same time I just wanted more, I needed to continue to read to find out how this fourth sister came to be and why she was around. And when don't think the other sisters' lives are dull because the dram continues on their lives too lol.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Loved every minute of it and totally recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars!</span></span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">This is a Reverse Harem book, let's just start and put this out there so you know what you are getting into, now if you are into these books, then TRUST me this book will win your heart right away as it will destroy it at the same time. Are you ready for it? I know you are, if you are a Siobhan Davis fan, you know she cannot dissapoint you when it comes to these kind of books (or any kind of books, right? LOL), or if you haven't started reading a Siobhan book, where have you been? Grab this one and be destroyed by her amazing writing and be ready to not stop here, be don't worry, she has plenty books/series out there for you to be more destroyed.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">Now, let's get to Resurrection...Harlow is not your typical girl and you will get that from the first chapter. She is wild, she is not afraid to express herself, she is not afraid of her sexuality and most importantly she is not afraid to protect herself from anyone. But to get to where she is, she has to gone through hell and back, but from just meeting her, you will never guess. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">The night she met Saint, Galen, Caz and Theo, her whole life sure changed forever. Because they belong to The Sainthood and has now decided to make her off limits to anyone else and drags her into their world more than she wants, Harlow never thought she would hate them more than she ever thought, but the more she hates them the more she starts to realize how right everything feels, how she starts to feel save where she shouldn't. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">But enemies are all over and things are not always what it seems...</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">AH, this book made a mess on me. It was hot, sexy, had me on edge the whole time and just like Harlow, I didn't know who the hell to trust. I was doubting all the guys all the time, while still feeling hot for all of them, I just as sick in the head as her. Siobhan messed with my head more than ever...and the cliffhanger at the end just, just, just...I can't even put to words.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;">I don't need book two now, I WANT book two NOW. I need to know what the heck is going to happen, this is killing me. </span></span><br />
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px;"><br /></span></span>

F. KuangWow, let's talk a little about high fantasy books, not my favorite genre of books to read but once in a while I read a book and I really enjoy and then it becomes a series and then I'm stuck in reading the whole series. And no, it's not because I'm mandatory to read the whole series, it's because I NEED too, once I start I just cannot stop, I'm too deep with the characters, somethings not with the main one but others, as you will see. But I just need to find out what's going to happen and God forbid if the author kills my favorite character, then MAYBE, MAYBE I'll NOT read the rest of the series. Or maybe I will and see who else is going to die. See what I mean, too committed. These authors are mean...just mean. Okay, now I'm ready for the review...let's do this.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
-----------------------------------------------------------<br />
<br />
After reading The Poppy War I really couldn't wait to read this book, but man I wasn't expecting this whole mess of a book. That's all I can call it. Do I still like it? Heck yes I did. First of all, that magic system in this world is nothing like we have ever seem and it keeps getting better, last book the magic blew my mind, but in this one? It was another level, we got to see a lot more of it and a lot more different magic for sure. I freaking love it.<br />
<br />
And one of the other things that keeps bringing me back to this world is the war and fighting scenes. No, I don't like war in real life, 100% against it, wish it didn't exist!!! But in this book and world, man, the way they plan it and discuss it? And the whole thing happening, it keeps me in the edge of my seat, literally jumping. I for sure would not know who to even start writing something like that...so well written.<br />
<br />
World building, that's another well written part in this book, every time the characters are moving from one place to another the descriptions are amazingly written, I always feel like I can image how everything is, even the broken down places and ruins. SO good.<br />
<br />
Characters, I really think Kuang does an amazing job with her characters, so much so that I have fallen in love not with Rin but others. Is it bad that I felt like she was driving me crazy in this book, for most part she was only thinking of herself first than anyone else or anything else and what the heck, that drove me crazy. Where is the Rin from the first book, the one I fell in love with? I wanted that little girl that fought and fought to be on top and fight for everyone else. She was lost in this book and I sure hope she finds herself in the next one. And that she realizes there are others that cares about her and she needs to care for them too.<br />
<br />
Alright, I'm not giving anything away, why? Because this is the second book of a fantasy series and you need to read the first book, first of all and second when it comes to fantasy you really can't ruin and book, you need to dive in and just discover it all yourself.<br />

-----------------------------------------------------</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Alright, I admit, I watched the Netflix Christmas Knight and then I saw this book and saw that it had time travel and come one can you blame me? I just had to have it and give a try. Was it the same as the Netflix movie? Of course not, but did I still enjoy it? Of course I did. But did I want it to be more like the movie? Yeah, I admit that I did. But overall it was a cute story and I'm glad that I came across it and read it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So, it all comes down to these matchmakers in our regular time that can time travel and they have been wanting to try to break the fifteenth century Penrose's family curse and they really think they got it now. So to go to the fifteenth century Glastonbury, England and get Colin, a Knight and bring him to a date on Christmas eve, our time with Madeline, a defense attorney. They meet for the briefest minute and makes an impact on each other but they both disappear out of each others life. A year later, when Madeline needs a date for her mothers wedding she asks the matchmaker again, but somehow the matchmake does a little more than provide a wedding date. She ends up traveling back to time and a lot more happens.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
They end up meeting but to be together they have to go through a lot more that what they thought it was possible. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Overall the story was quick, but still really enjoyable, don't expect history because you are not going to get it. It's all about the romance and been Christmas time that's what you get. The ending was a little rushed but that was to be expected to. I enjoyed and recommend it for a quick and easy romantic read during this time of the year.</div>

Not only is he a fifteen on a ten-point man-scale of hot; he’s also kind, thoughtful and generous. Oscar is the kind of man every mother dreams her daughter would marry, and every woman dreams of bedding. But he’s not available. It’s not that Oscar doesn’t want to find love, and it’s not that he hasn’t tried. He’s dated blondes, redheads, brunettes, witches, humans, and even gargoyles, but his attraction never turns into love. He’s a serial one-night stand.</span><br style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: #181818; font-size: 14px; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;" /><span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #181818; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: "Merriweather","Georgia",serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">Annabelle Gibson is a feisty, red-headed beauty, with a reputation for breaking hearts. While all sorts of men drool at her feet, she’s never found the right one. Oscar’s lukewarm response to her charms shocks her. She falls helplessly in love, and that’s when the trouble really starts. No matter what she does, she can’t get him to see her as anything but a friend. </span><br style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: #181818; font-size: 14px; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;" /><span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #181818; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: "Merriweather","Georgia",serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">Belle hatches a plan that can’t go wrong, or so she thinks. She gives a Christmas present he can’t refuse: three blind-dates. The third date will be with her. What could go wrong? ----------------------------------------------------------</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This was a really quick read and quite fun too. It happened during Christmas time and this one had some magic involved has the characters are witches which was something different. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Oscar and Annabelle work at a café where they lace the coffees they make with some magic to warm the hearts of the people they serve and make their wishes to somehow to come true.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Oscar is hot and kind and has every woman falling at his feet but for some reason he is single, he only does one night stands and never, never goes out with the same woman again.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Annabelle is a beauty herself and she falls in love with Oscar right away and the more she is with him the more in love she is with him but Oscar? He won't even look at her and go out with her. So Annabelle comes up with a plan, she gives Oscar a Christmas present and he cannot refuse, three blind dates. The third date will be here.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But what she doesn't know is that Oscar has been cursed by a dark sorceress when is was just a teenager, will she be able to figure out and break the spell in time?</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The story line was cute and it had lots of potential, but it happened so fast, I felt like I wanted more. But overall? It was a cute Christmas book to read, and I recommend it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3 out of 5 starts.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
XOXO,</div>
