If you like to read about Aliens but more on a contemporary side this is the kind of book for you, there is romance but the Aliens are there and in this second book we get to see the other side of it and experience it.  Let's review...

Cara is on planet L'eihr and she knew it was going to be an adjustment, even more with Aelyx, her L'eihr boyfriend not there, because he is still back on Earth working to mend the broken alliance between the two planets.

Cara is trying to adapt to a new planet, a new school and doing all that while surround by alien clones.  She gets a little happier when she is appointed as human representative to a panel preparing for a human colony for on L'eihr, a new society for both cultures and a place where Cara and Aelyx could one day make a life together.  However, Cara starts to questions if she could be ever happy on this planet with Aelyx, the leaders can't grant even the most basic freedoms there and that's not something that she feels comfortable with.

But, Aelyx isn't having the best time on Earth either, there are multiple attempts on his life which he hides from Cara.  Humans don't know that they need this alliance and Aelyx people have the technology to fix it the contamination that the governments are hiding.  The mystery continues when his leaders suddenly seem desperate to get humans on their side which mean they need humans' help, but with what?  And what will they ask in return?

Cara and Aelyx are in the middle of more political stuff as they end up finding out more stuff than they expect but they also would do anything to save their worlds.  

I gotta say, these books are getting better and I'm really enjoying them and I cannot wait to read the next one, I totally recommend them.  4.25 stars out of 5.
