Book Review: Angelfall by Susan Ee

Book Review Tuesday and today's book is one that's been going around lately I fell like:

Angelfall by Susan Ee

This book is about Angels, yes you heard that right, but don't go think AH...because this is not your typical good Angels.  These Angels took over our planet Earth and they are not kind and lovey that's for sure.  The humans are dying of poverty and hiding from the Angels, because their purpose is to destroy the human race.

17 year old Penryn takes care of her mother who has some mental health issues and her little sister who is paralyzed.  One day when the 3 of them try to move from one place to another Penryn is caught up in a battle that she doesn't even have a clue, an angel named Raffe is stripped of his wings and left to die in the middle of the streets.  Penryn tries to help the fallen angel and because of it one of the bad angels takes her wheelchair-bound sister with them.

While the battle is happening her mother disappears, after the angels take her sister Penryn takes Raffe with her so she can get information from him to where her little sister could have been taken.

This book follows Raffe helping Penryn find her little sister.  This is my first book about angels and I loved it, but be prepared because it can be dark at times.  Lots of action throughout the book so it is a very fast reading book.  I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars and totally recommend this trilogy.

And that is going to do for this review, can't give too much away...go read and you will not regret it.

XOXO,

Nelia
