Book Review: Alienated by Melissa Landers

It's Book Review Tuesday and today's book it's all about? Aliens...once I was done reading These Broken Stars I wanted need more alien and I already had this book purchased so I knew what to read next:

Aliens made contact with Earth two years ago, things are still new, so new that Earth and the Aliens want to do the frist ever L'eihr exhange student program.  And Cara is the host, she among with other 3 humans around the world will host in their houses a L'eihr (an alien) student for a period of time.  In exchange, Cara will get to go for free to her dream college and she will also get all the inside information about the mysterious L'eihrs and Cara takes advantage of it by documenting on a blog which becomes quite popular.

When Aelyx (the alien) arrives Cara isn't sure what to think of him, for one, he is too good looking, no human boy is that good looking that's for sure.  She knows that humans and L'eihrs have neraly identical DNA but Aelyx couldn't be more cold and distant and smart, that's for sure.

With the arrival of Aelyx things are not normal anymore, Cara starts to get threatnening notes in her locker, she loses her friends, her boyfriends and her town isn't safe anymore.  Humans are not taking well the L'eihrs visit, and Cara ends up taking comfort on the last person that she thought possible, Aelyx.  Not only they become friends, they end up falling hard for each other.

Cara finds out the truth about the purpose of Aelyx exchange and the potentially deadly consequences and soon she finds herself fighting for her life and the life of the boy she loves and also for the future of her planet.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was light and fast passed and the romance was really cute.  I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars.  And it totally satisfied was alien mood.  Totally recommend it and now I need to read the second book, I think it's already out, right?
