Book Review-Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series Books 1-5

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series, where have I been all this time.  This was an amazing series and very easy to read and a fast read, I think I finished the 5 books in less than 2 weeks. Let's get to the reviews:

Book 1: The Lightning Thief-In this first book we get to know Percy and he is such a funny and likable kid.  He is described as a regular kid, with difficulty to learn and nothing goes right with him.  One of the things that I like most was the fast paced, lots of action.
Percy found out that is father is a god, Poseidon to be exact.  He also finds out that the gods are mad as someone stole Zeus lightning bolt.  Percy goes to the demi gods camp and goes on his first quest, looking for the lightning bolt.  At the quest lots of difficulties happen, it is lots of stuff happening all the time which keeps you hooked to the book.

Book 2: The Sea of Monsters-Magical walls at demi god camp is poised and they need to find a solution to save the magical walls and Thalia's tree.  Annabeth gets the quest this time and off they go to the sea of monsters, looking for the Golden fleece the only way to save the camp and saving Percy's best friend Grover, who is kidnapped by the Cyclops Pholyphenus..  On this book Percy also gets to meet his cyclop half-brother.  And we get to find out a little more about Kronos' plan.  In this book we get to know Percy more on a personal level.  And of course lots of action...

Book 3: The Titan's Curse-Goddess Artemis goes missing and Percy and his friends have to find out what happened and find her before the winter solstice as her vote is an important one on the war with the titans.  This book was so good, we get to meet more gods...

Book 4: The Battle of the Labyrinth-I think this may have been one of my favorite in this series.  The time is running out as war between the Olympians and the evil Titan lord Kronos draws near.  Percy and his friends go on a quest through the Laryrinth-an underground world with so many surprises at every turn.  It is one of their most thrilling quest.

Book 5: The Last Olympian-Final book and OMG, so many things happen at once that you cannot but this book down until you finish this book.  There is the war, I really cannot give nothing out on this book, you need to READ it.

Great series, if you are 10 or 40 you will enjoy it.  So go READ...I totally recommend this.

XOXO,

Nelia
