Book Review: Forever Doon by Carey Corp, Lorie Langdon

Confession time; the year is more than half way done and I'm doing horribly with finishing series.  Who's also with me?  I'm doing amazingly well starting new series and more amazingly well reading new books coming out this year! :)  Can't really blame me, I feel like 2018 there are even more amazing books coming out than last year, if that's even possible lol.

But, coming back to today's post; I'm reviewing the last book of the Doon series, so one done!!!  Let's get to it?  Let's do it.

From GoodReads:
With the witch of Doon on the thron, Jamie believed dead, and Duncan and Mackenna trapped in Alloway, Veronica has no choice but to put her grief aside and prepare her remaining followers for the impending battle against the false queen and her forces.  But while on covert mission to steal a powerful elixir from the castle, Veronica discovers may actually be alive, and fighting a battle of his own.  With the Bri O'Doon destroyed and the portal fragmented, Doon's forces are not only divided, but also isolated in different dimensions.  With the help of a storyteller as ancient as the witch herself, Kenna and Duncan learn they must rebuild the bridge to have any chance of crossing back to Doon with their ragtag army.  But when Mackenna insists on fighting as well, Duncan soon realizes the only way he can ensure her safety is to turn her into a cold-hearted killer.  For Vee, Jamie, Kenna and Duncan, saving their kingdom while keeping their lives intact will take a miracle.

This book was everything you wanted on a series final book, it had adventure, so much action, dangerous to our must loved characters, love and a great ending.  Duncan and Kenna were the couple that we always loved, fighting with each other but loving each other until the very ending.  When Kenna wanted to learn how to fight so she could be part of the same army that would defend Doon, Duncan couldn't come to terms for a long time, until Kenna started training with others and Duncan couldn't take it anymore.  If she was going to train and fight, minus well she was going to do it the right way and the only person the train her the right way, was him.  So, he trained her and both fought together on the fight of their lives, each having their backs.  It was so cute and amazing and fierce!!!
Vee and Jamie?  Ah, those two were soulmates before they even realized and no matter what dangerous they were in, they felt each others pains and fought to get together again.  And once together?  They fought for their people and for Doon...
I loved this cute and corny series and would reread it again again.  I got an eARC from Netgalley for this one!

5 out of 5 stars, loved it.

XOXO,

Nelia
