Book Review: United by Melissa Landers

I have quite a few trilogies and series that I really want to finish this year and I have made a promise this year that I WILL finish most of them.  So, keeping with that promise this next book review will mark the first trilogy that I have had on my TBR for a while that I hadn't finished.  YEEPEE.

Let's do this:

United by Melissa Landers

26180279

After Cara and Aelyx have finally time to enjoy themselves and their new lives in their new island colony and it's everything they dreamed it would be.  But their vacation is short-lived.

The treaty between Earth and L'eihr has awakened an ancient force that threatens to destroy them all.  The Aribol, mysterious guardians charged with maintaining interstellar peace, deem the alliance a threat to the galaxy.  They order a separation of the races, decreeing humans and L'eirhrs must return to their own planets within the month or face extinction.  In fact, they already have agents in place on Earthy, ready to begin.

With the clock ticking, Aelyx and Clara assemble a team of colonists and race back to Earth, where they unite with old friends to solve the mystery of who the Aribol are, what they want, and the real reason the alliance has provoked them.  As tensions build to full-scale war, Aelyx and Cara must fight harder than ever-not just for their future, but for the survival of both their worlds.

This last book of the Alienated trilogy was everything you wanted the trilogy to be a little more, Aelyx and Cara have always been a team and on this book it was no different.  These two have stick together from the beginning and together their have conquered everything.  And together they managed to have their races and their planets and because of that they were able to stay together.  Their love story may have been one of the simplest one, but they had to fight to stay together.  There was lots of action, so if you are like me don't worry, there is action :)

Overall, a good ending for this trilogy, 4.25 out of 5 stars, a cute alien romance trilogy.

XOXO,

Nelia
