June 2014 TBR

Alright, I have finally come up with a list of the books that I want to read this month and without further do let's jump into it:

First up is:

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi, this is the 3rd and final book of the Shatter Me Trilogy.  I have already finished this book, I'm not going to lie it book me a little bit of time to get into but overall it was great.

Next up I have 2 Novellas:

They are the companions for the Shatter Me trilogy and I am currently reading Destroy Me and I am totally loving to know Warren better. Can't wait to finish it.  Fracture Me is told by Adam's perspective and it will be interesting to see Adam that's all I'm going to say.

Next up I have 3 ebooks that were send for review and 2 of them I wanted to read last month but never got to it, they are:

Half a King by Joe Abercrombie and I AM GOING TO READ IT, the story looks so interesting.

And I really want to read The Silver Chain by Primula Bond, never read anything by her but I do love some romantic, erotic book once in a while.  Looking forward to a good story hopefully.

And Hexed by Michelle Krys, it's a book about witches and that's all I had to know to convince me to read it.  I love reading supernatural books and it has definitely been a while since I read a supernatural book, it's time, yes it is.

And last I really, really want to get started on this series:

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus) by Rick Riordan.  I LOVED, LOVED Percy Jackson and I don't even know why I didn't just read this series right after, but I am so ready to dig in...let's do this baby.


That's my June To Be Read list and I am so looking forward to just seat outside or on the boat and just read and relax a little.

May 2014 Wrap Up

Is May really over, holy crap it went by so quick.  It was not a good month for me, I only read 4.5 books and 2 of them were Novellas.  Also I was on a car accident the last week and that really slowed things down, on reading, work and life in general, but I am starting to feel better and I cannot wait to pick up some books are read.  Well, I'll stop with the talk and get to the wrap up:

First book that I finished was Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi and it was such a good book, totally loved it and I'll be doing a review on this series soon.

 

Next up is the 2 Novellas of The Selection Trilogy, The Guard and The Prince by Kiera Class, I had to read them before the book came out on 5/6 and they were so nice a sweet short Novellas...loved both of them.  Sometimes it's nice to get a little taste of other characters.

And of course up next is The One, OMG this book was just AMAZING, it was more than I expected.  America, well if you were not sure of your feelings towards her, let me tell you, you will fall in love with her in this book.  And you get to see different sides of the other characters too which was just lovely.

And lastly was half book was Ignite Me, don't get me wrong I really liked this series but for some reason it took me a while to really get back to Ignite Me, I think I may blame of The One and Kiera Cass lol.  I reading this book so slow up until page 160 which I was on by 5/31, but after that I was one in 2 days with the rest of the book.  It was GOOD, so GOOD, so GOOD.  I loved the ending.  Totally recommend this series.

Alright guys, that was it for May.  Not many books but I'm totally planning in reading a lot this month and the weather is getting so nice and and and I cannot wait to just read and relax.
